Teen Programs Winter 2012 PSAT Seminar: What Do the Numbers Mean? Saturday, January 14 from 10 - 12 PM A representative of the Stanley Kaplan organization explains how to use PSAT results a guide for future test preparation. SAT or ACT: Choosing the Best of the Tests Saturday, February 25 from 12:30 - 4:30 PM *Please note date was changed from February 18 to February 25. Scores Back Session: Saturday, March 24 from 1 - 2 PM The easy way to make a tough decision: students will take a combo practice test and later receive an analysis of their performance on the SAT and ACT parts of the exams. Limited registration begins February 4.
Practice SAT Test Saturday, April 21 from 12:30 - 4:30 PM A fully-proctored examination will show students exactly what to expect on test day. Analysis of the scores will highlight individual strengths and weaknesses. Limited registration begins April 7.
Certification Program for Babysitters Thursdays, April 19, 26, and May 3 from 7 - 9 PM This program provides expert guidance on health and safety issues. Participants must be 12 years of age and up, must attend all classes to receive the certificate. Limited registration begins April 5.
The Together Book Club is an online book club for kids and parents. Every month TBC chooses one high-quality upper elementary or middle grade book to discuss. Conversations are led by children's librarians and scholars who have participated in the New York Council for Humanities' Together - Book Talk for Kids and Parents program and continue throughout the school year!
