The library closes at 2:00 PM on the eve of Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's

Directions to the Library:

  • Route 59
    Proceeding East (towards Nyack) on Route 59:
    Pass Palisades Parkway intersection. Turn left at light (Crossfields Road). Turn right at West Nyack Road. At the next light make a left turn onto Strawtown Road. Proceed to Demarest Avenue and turn left. Make a left turn into the parking lot. The library is on the corner of Strawtown Road and Demarest Avenue.

    Proceeding West (towards Spring Valley) on Route 59:
    Go to West Nyack exit. Bear left onto West Nyack Road. At light, make a right turn onto Strawtown Road. Proceed to Demarest Avenue and turn left. Make a left turn into the parking lot. The library is on the corner of Strawtown Road and Demarest Avenue.

  • Route 304
    From New City (south):
    Turn left at West Nyack Road (corner of the Kea Honda/Exxon Station). Proceed down West Nyack Road and bear left at fork (Demarest Avenue). Proceed down Demarest Avenue. Make a right turn into parking lot. Library is on the corner of Demarest Avenue and Strawtown Road.

    From Pearl River (north):
    Turn right at West Nyack Road (corner of Kea Honda/Exxon Station). Proceed down West Nyack Road and bear left at fork (Demarest Avenue). Proceed down Demarest Avenue. Make right turn into parking lot. Library is on the corner of Demarest Avenue and Strawtown Road.

  • Route 303
    From Congers (south):
    Bear right at 59 West exit. Proceed west on Route 59 and go to the West Nyack Exit. Bear left onto West Nyack Road. At light make right turn onto Strawtown Road. Make a left turn onto Demarest Avenue. Turn left into parking lot.

    From Orangeburg (north):
    Turn right at Route 59 West exit (before the Grill Restaurant). Continue onto Route 59 West and go to the West Nyack exit. Bear left onto West Nyack Road. At light make right turn onto Strawtown Road. Make a left onto Demarest Avenue. Turn left into parking lot.

 

  • Thruway from Tappan Zee Bridge
    Get off at West Nyack Route 303 exit. Make a left hand turn; get into the far right land and turn onto Snake Hill Road. Follow Snake Hill Road until you come to the reservoir at the end of the road. Make a left hand turn onto Old Mill Road and follow it until you come to a four corner stop sign intersection. Make a left hand turn onto Strawtown Road. The library is located 3/10s of a mile on the right at the intersection of Strawtown and Demarest Avenue.

 

  • Thruway from Harriman

    From the New York State Thruway, take Exit 13S (Palisades Parkway South) to Exit 8W (Rte 59W). Take Rte 59W to Rte 304N. Take 304N to West Nyack Road which is the first light. Make a right onto West Nyack Road. Proceed to the fork and bear left onto Demarest Avenue. the library is located at the intersection of Strawtown Road and Demarest Avenue. The entrance to the parking lot is on Demarest Avenue.
