  everyone's favorite confection. Tasting to follow.

   Wednesday, February 8 at 6:45 PM

    Instructor Marianne Olbermann reveals the technique for

   combining chains and stones to create a unique keepsake.

   A materials fee of $10.00 is required.

   Thursday, February 9 at 11 AM

    Instructor Vegan shows how mind and body can be taught to act

   in harmony and promote a balanced life.

   Wednesday, February 15 at 7 PM

   Paul Braus reads from his novel and demonstrates that horror can

   be quite entertaining.

□ Cook Smart, Cook Delicious: Mastering Bean Cuisine

   Wednesday, March 7 at 7 PM

   Diane Hoch, owner of Food Evolution, teaches the secrets of

   preparing a great lentil soup. Tasting to follow.

□ Moving to a New Beat: Learn American Tribal-Style Belly Dance

   Wednesday, March 14 at 7 PM

   Instructor Beverly Lewis introduces a new fitness technique

   incorporating music and traditions from many different cultures.

   Wednesday, March 21 at 6:45 PM

   Instructor Marianne Olbermann shows how to create floral motifs

   with gemstones. A materials fee of $10.00 is required.

   The library presents the ABCs of Facebook and Twitter for anyone

   ready to take the plunge.

   Wednesday, April 11 at 7 PM

   Nathalie Marinoff introduces a new form of artistic expression.

   Learn the basic technique and create a stunning display piece.

Ongoing Workshops for Crafters

 

Open Knitting and Crocheting Sessions:

Wednesdays from 7:00 PM to 8:45 PM and Thursdays from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Adults and teens over 14 with any level of expertise are welcome on any Wednesday or Thursday that the library is open.

 

Origami Workshop

One Saturday each month from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Everyone over 6 is welcome, but children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult who stays. Join us for paper-folding fun on January 14, February 11, March 10, April 14, May 12 and June 9.
